Banaba

The first and most famous of the Titan line was christened the Banaba. Captained by Jason Terrill and escorted by three Meteor-class shuttles converted to fighters, the Banaba held off an Earth invasion force of more than 20 ships while losing none of defenders - despite each taking heavy damage. The Banaba was used as a test-bed for several new technologies afterwards before it was destroyed by flying directly into a capital ship during Earth's Second Invasion attempt. This act stopped the invasion and any further invasion attempts by Earth. Jason Terrill and his crew escaped the ship prior to its demise using escape pods and were recovered unharmed. |
