X-Fire

 While the Meteor fighters were proven in combat time and again, there was a clear need for a nimble, purpose-built fighter and escort.  What ASF got was more than nimble, it was practically double-jointed!  With 4 opposed nacelles and a revolutionary guidance system, this fighter could outclass and outperform any ship built.  Fast and capable, this fighter was also armed with 6 high-yield torpedoes and several directed energy weapons.
